The American company Magpul is a shooting equipment brand based in Colorado. Started its journey by producing accessories for the convenient use of firearms, today Magpul offers shooters everything they need to fire their weapons.

The name Magpul comes from magazine pull, an accessory that allowed soldiers of the U.S. army to quickly withdraw a magazine from a holster. The design consisted of a parachute sling wrapped around the magazine and secured with scotch tape or electrical tape. These products are still used by the military, but instead of sling and tape they are made of synthetic rubber, and the design is more comfortable.

Gun slings and accessories

Gun slings. Textile slings with plastic or metal fasteners for transporting weapons. The models in our catalogue are combined: they can be used as single-point or two-point ones.

Single-point ones form a loop with the carbine, which makes it possible to carry the rifle around the neck or on the shoulder, while the weapon hangs down. Two-point straps are the classic option, with the weapon behind the back or on the chest in a diagonal position.

Magpul sling mounts. Quick-release parts that connect the gun sling and the weapon attached to it.
Adapters for gun slings. The product is a sling, which has a sling attachment on the one side and a ring for mounting of the gun sling on the other. Adapters are designed for quick change of gun sling configuration from two-point to one-point and vice versa.

Magpul is an American company that is known worldwide for its development of weapon accessories and tactical designs and unique training courses for military and law enforcement personnel. The company was founded in 1999, primarily for the purpose of developing and manufacturing devices for quick reloading of weapons.
The name of the company Magpul also comes from an accessory, which was used in the U.S. Armed Forces and allowed to quickly remove the magazine from the pouch (magazine pull — a piece of parachute sling, which was wrapped in the form of a loop on the bottom of the magazine and fastened with scotch tape).
Currently the company develops accessories for the US Army and NATO armed forces.

Magpul has been expanding its operations over time, and as a result, Magpul PTS and Magpul Dynamics were established as subsidiaries.
Magpul PTS continued to develop weapons, but it was no longer a firearm, but a strikeball weapon. Also the company was engaged in equipment and accessories development. Strikeball weapons and elements of Magpul equipment were used in the shooting of the film "Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon".
