Emergency Bandage, better known as the "Israeli Bandage", is a bandage that combines the properties of a hemostatic applicator, elastic bandage and twist-on tourniquet. It is an effective means of dealing with critical bleeding.
Built-in hemostatic applicator accelerates blood clotting at the site of bleeding.
The applicator surface is smooth and does not stick to the wound.
The built-in platform creates additional pressure on damaged blood vessels.
Double vacuum packing.
With a hemostatic applicator, a C-brace that creates platform pressure, and an elastic base that further enhances this pressure, Emergency Bandage can act as a good alternative to a tourniquet in the management of moderate bleeding. Also, this bandage will be useful in the treatment of severe bleeding, together with the application of a tourniquet or hemostatic agent. For example, a tourniquet can completely block the flow of blood, which will provide a margin of time for applying the FirstCare Emergency Bandage. After the applicator pad and direct pressure on the wound have joined in, the tourniquet can be loosened or removed in order to restore the blood supply to the limb and prevent disruption of the nerve endings.
On the back, the entire surface of the outer packaging is dedicated to an illustrated six-point instruction, which shows the procedure for applying the FirstCare Emergency Bandage.
