TacMed Solution 6" Olaes Modular Bandage Features
1. OLAES® bandage contains 3 meters of sterile gauze in a Z-pack under the bandage.
2. Equipped with a removable occlusive plastic cup insert that can perform two functions:
- creating focused pressure at the wound site, which helps to close off damaged vessels;
- use as a rigid eye shield for eye injuries according to CoTCCC guidelines.
3. Integrated Velcro Control Strips™ that prevent accidental deployment and keep the dressing securely in place throughout the application process.
4. Clip to secure the dressing in place.
5. Latex-free.
Instructions for use
- Position the dressing so that the pressure bar is directly over the wound.
- Wrap the wound tightly with the elastic bandage.
- Secure with the plastic clip.
Additional options
- To reach the gauze and the occlusive layer, open the flap under the dressing and pull.
- Place the gauze on the wound and wrap with the dressing.
- Secure with a plastic clip.
