The B31U night vision binocular from the Turkish company 3e. Designed to improve nighttime performance and situational awareness for operators. This compact, lightweight, dual-tube NV is optimized for trouble-free operation in the most challenging low-light conditions.
The dual-tube system delivers superior image resolution, providing unprecedented capabilities for detecting, recognizing and identifying targets at significant distances. It features independent tube housings, providing the flexibility to operate in binocular or monocular configurations to meet mission requirements.
In binocular configuration, the two tubes work together to provide improved depth perception, simplifying terrain navigation and obstacle avoidance.
On the other hand, the monocular configuration provides the versatility to quickly adapt to changing lighting conditions often encountered in the tactical environment.
The B31U can be efficiently powered by a built-in AA battery or an external rechargeable battery for extended use scenarios. The external battery pack is equipped with two infrared strobe lights, a critical feature for identifying ground personnel.
This night vision device utilizes the NoctuVision 3rd generation green phosphor image intensifier. The NoctuVision tube extends not only the range of visibility, but also the level of detail that can be discerned in low light conditions. The improved FOM is attributed to an optimized balance of resolution and sensitivity, giving users a significant operational advantage when it comes to night reconnaissance or surveillance.
The swift Auto-Gating functionality further enhances the user experience by quickly adjusting to changing lighting conditions. This ensures a stable and clear image, reducing the risk of instant blindness or blurred images due to sudden exposure to bright light.
