The M-Tac brand has released the ELITE MULTICAM Combat Medic's Backpack, which is the benchmark of the combat medic's backpack and is capable of acting as a full-fledged mobile stabilization station.
The exterior of the backpack is equipped with two administrative compartments. The lower compartment is equipped with a MOLLE panel for attaching additional equipment, and the upper compartment is equipped with an integrated pouch that allows you to safely store and carry medical gloves (optimal number – 6 pairs).
On top of the front part of the backpack, there is an integrated holder for medical scissors, made of innovative Hypalon material and Murdock sling. The holder is fastened with a fastener made by the Korean company Woojin. On the top and bottom of the front part of the backpack, there are also special eyelets for attaching a safety cord or paracord (for attaching additional equipment)
On the sides of the backpack, there are 4 integrated elastic pouches for placing tourniquets (C-A-T format). The upper pouches are additionally equipped with an elastic holder for markers. On the sides of the backpack, there are additional handles for easy carrying in a horizontal position.
The main pocket of the backpack is equipped with three transparent and two mesh compartments, which were developed specifically for the “MARCH” system, TCCC (Tactical Combat Carry) concept. On each of the compartments, there is a velcro panel designed for attaching the mark of the corresponding stage of the algorithm.
Under the upper mesh compartment, there are two elastic holders for markers. The base of the backpack is made of velcro webbing, thanks to which the transparent compartments can be removed if necessary. On top of the flap of the main pocket is a special sling designed for quick opening of the pocket (when closing it should be placed between the runners of zippers, so that it will block the full closure of the backpack).
Around the perimeter of the main pocket of the backpack are special holders for reinforced tape, band-aids, tourniquets, and the like. The side fasteners are made of elastic bands, and the lower ones are made of slings connected with each other with buttons, manufactured by Japanese company YKK.
The inner pocket of the backpack is made of velcro webbing, on which you can attach additional modular inserts if necessary. The pocket is equipped with a removable organizer for placing ampoules and necessary medical equipment.
The outer part of the organizer is made of wear-resistant Oxford material and the inner part is made of velcro webbing. Also, the organizer is additionally reinforced with Tegris thermoplastic composite and EVA foam material, which in combination ensure the strength of the organizer and soften possible shock loads.
Modular ampoule inserts are made of Tegris thermoplastic composite and elastic bands. The back of the inserts are equipped with Velcro, so you can customize their positioning according to your needs.
The medical equipment compartments are made of innovative Hypalon material and elastic bands with elastic clips on the ends, manufactured by the Korean company Woojin. In the center of the organizer – there is a small pocket (envelope), designed for placing alcohol wipes, catheter tape, and the like. It is attached to the organizer with velcro.
The sides of the backpack are equipped with special slings with geitkipers, which when closed prevent the full opening of the inner pocket. On the back of the backpack, there is an additional mesh compartment with a zipper for immobilization splints.
The straps of the backpack are equipped with slings with fasteners to secure the product in the chest area. The bottom of the product is equipped with a similar system to secure the backpack in the waist area, to improve unloading. At the bottom of the backpack, there is a pouch for thermal blankets/carriers, which is attached to the product with the MOLLE system.
The base of the Elite Multicam Combat Medic M-Tac Shoulder Pad is made of a combination of Cordura Squadron and Cordura 500D, which are super-strong, hard-wearing, and easy-to-maintain materials. The bottom of the backpack is sealed with Cordura 1000D.
