SOLTG - a tactical group of one of the units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has passed the NATO assessment of the second level-NEL (NATO EVALUATION).
SOLTG has received NATO Rapid Response Force (NRF) readiness status. In the near future, decisions will be made at the Alliance Headquarters (NATO Special Operations Headquarters - NSHQ) to include the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces tactical group on duty as part of the NRF.

The unit's assessment consisted of two levels. At the first stage (NEL-1) - during the international exercises Silver Saber - the group was assessed according to the level of support and capabilities. The second phase of the assessment (NEL-2) took place during the Rapid Trident 2021 exercise. There, the Ukrainian MTR unit was assessed according to several indicators, in particular in the areas of personnel, planning, logistics, communications and engineering training.

Consequently, our soldiers had to show the ability to operate according to NATO protocols, meet the requirements of interoperability with foreign units. The Ukrainian SOF tactical team has successfully passed all stages of the assessment and has proven its ability to work as part of the NATO Rapid Reaction Force side by side with the SOF units of partner countries.
