Tactical desert M-Tac shemagh scarf with Til Valhall inscription.
The creation of this design by shemagh designers of the M-Tac brand inspired
by the famous video of the Norwegian fighters in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan,
Claes Joachim "Jokke" Olson, a fighter from the Telemark battalion, died in a bomb.
His death provoked the appearance of a battalion of stripes with the inscription “Jokke
- We will never forget” among the soldiers of the battalion.
The battalion commander, standing over the coffin with a covered flag, said:
We will avenge you, Jokke!
The officer shouted triple TILL VALHALL, and his warriors supported the commander with a response cry.
The shemagh-type scarf (better known in the CIS countries as "arafatka") is intended
to protect the head and neck area from the effects of sand and sun,
as well as to protect it from the wind in cold weather conditions.
This scarf is used by many armies of the world.
