It is an innovative thermal imaging device from a well-known American manufacturer of high-quality optical sights.
It is a particularly compact monocular that can fit in any pocket and does not take up much space in a backpack.
Matrix of Leupold LTO-Tracker
It is powered by a matrix with a resolution of 206x156 pixels with a refresh rate of 30 Hz.
Despite the overall compactness of the device and the relatively low resolution of the matrix, Leupold LTO-Tracker provides the observer with a detailed and smooth image.
Given the low weight and mobility of this device, it can be called an excellent auxiliary device, which is ideal for researching certain areas during hunting, guarding, or conducting search and rescue operations.
Optical characteristics of the Leupold LTO-Tracker
For all its compactness, the thermal monocular has excellent optical characteristics.
The target detection range is about 550 meters, which is enough for most types of hunting.
The device has a sixfold digital zoom, so that with its help it is possible to detect and view objects that are at a great distance from the user.
The field of view is 21 degrees, which allows not losing sight of the goal, even if it moves at high speed.
Display of the Leupold LTO-Tracker
Externally, the imager resembles the ocular part of an optical sight.
The lens of the eyepiece, which is replaced by a large color display with a diameter of 30 mm and a resolution of 240x204 pixels.
The image can be transmitted in seven different light palettes, some of which are unique.
Simplicity and speed of work
It takes just a few minutes to master this device.
The imagery device turns on in less than three seconds, and all control is done all three buttons.
Due to this, the device is always in the ready state.
Control
This device is controlled with just three buttons. The central button is responsible for the digital zoom.
A short press activates the zoom mode, a long press activates the zoom. The left button is for changing color palettes and for exiting digital zoom.
The right button with a long press is responsible for turning on or off the device, as well as for turning on or off the aiming brand of the thermal imager (double-click).
Power
It is powered by a CR123 type battery. A full battery is enough for more than 10 hours of continuous use.
You can replace the batteries yourself. Not every device has such a feature.
