TacMed Solutions SOF tactical tourniquet, which is in service with the US Army and NATO. Can be applied with one hand. The tourniquet's low-stretch polyester pressure band slides easily over an arm or a leg when applied. The strong buckle quickly unhooks and rehooks, providing access to the confined space under the tourniquet.
A patented indicator wedge is stitched beneath the windlass to visually confirm when all slack is removed, ensuring an effective application. It features a patented aircraft grade aluminium windlass rod with a textured grip for consistent twisting. The windlass secures into a Tri-Ring Lock™ and Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip™ (TRAC).
Features:
5.5-inch (13.9 cm) aircraft-grade aluminium windlass rod;
1.5-inch (3.8 cm) reinforced webbing strap made of low-stretch polyester;
UV-resistant removable composite friction-lock buckle;
Tri-Ring Lock™ and Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip™ for windlass securement;
Time stamp, to document the time of application of the tourniquet.
