QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-Folded is a hemostatically impregnated bandage and is excellent for bleeding control and tight tamponade.
The basis of the QuikClot hemostatic agent is zeolite (zeolite) - a natural absorbent that, upon contact with blood, causes rapid blood clotting and further stop bleeding.
The latest generations of QuikClot products are non-heating and can be used to help both adults and children. The material of the bandage makes it possible to diagnose a dressing hemostatic agent on an x-ray.
QuikClot Combat Gauze is in service with the US Army and Police, many private military companies, and is recommended for use on the battlefield by the international TCCC committee.
This model consists of a bandage folded like an accordion, which allows you not to waste time unwinding, but immediately introduce the material into the wound.
