On the Kinburn Spit, in the Black Sea, among the units of the SSO, competitions were held dedicated to the memory of the combat swimmer, the commander of the 73rd Marine Special Forces Center named after the Koshevoy Ataman Anton Golovaty, Captain 1 Rank Alexei Vladimirovich Zinchenko, who died performing a combat mission during shelling by the Russian occupation forces with BM-21 "Grad" near the city of Starobeshevo on August 17, 2014.

Competitions were held in two stages: in the pool of the sanatorium on the Black Sea spit and in the water area of the Kinburn spit in the Black Sea.
Captain 1st Rank Alexey Vladimirovich Zinchenko devoted his whole life to service in the 73rd Marine Special Purpose Center, he was an experienced diver and had the qualification of a combat swimmer, in general he spent about 2000 hours under water.

The annual swimming competition among the units of the Special Operations Forces is aimed at perpetuating the memory and significant contribution to the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine by the commander of the 73 naval center.
SOF operators competed in freestyle swimming for 50 meters, diving to the maximum distance, relay race for 50 meters freestyle, command relay, military applied swimming at a distance with weapons in groups and performing the task of rescuing a drowning man.
