What makes Safariland holsters popular among shooters? First of all, its own unique gun retention technologies: ALS and SLS.

ALS, Automatic Locking System. Holds the weapon in the holster thanks to a button that must be pressed before the gun can be removed. Provides level I retention according to the manufacturer.
SLS, Self Locking System. This is a rotating hood that provides a level II gun retention. To retrieve the pistol, push the hood down and then rotate it forward, allowing access to the weapon.

Also worth noting is the holster's design, which follows the shape of various gun models, while minimising contact with the weapon and not scratching it. For this purpose, some holsters additionally have an inner suede covering.

The weapon held securely in the holster will not only not fall out during active movement, but will also be protected from removal by unauthorised persons in emergency situations.

Safariland Thigh Holsters. Equipped with elastic slings and fasteners, these holsters are designed to be attached to the belt and leg. Silicone non-slip coating on the inside of the straps provides stability during active movement.
