The Steiner company was founded in 1947 in Germany. Real fame and worldwide recognition came to the brand towards the end of the twentieth century. The first significant success was the use of a polycarbonate alloy based on an innovative material - macrolon. This polymer was used in the space industry, and the original discovery made it possible to create binoculars with an incredibly durable and wear-resistant body.
