CAP4 is a modern Level 4 ceramic ballistic plate certified under DSTU 8782:2018. It is designed to effectively stop high-penetration threats while maintaining an optimized weight for enhanced mobility.

Shooter’s Cut, 3D Multi-Curved (dual-axis curvature)

The anatomical geometry follows the body’s contours, ensuring a secure and stable fit. Weight is evenly distributed to reduce fatigue. The shooter-oriented design does not interfere with proper stock placement or shoulder mobility.

Ballistic Resistance

CAP4 is rated to stop:

• 5.45×39 mm PP (7N10) — velocity 910 ± 15 m/s

• 7.62×54 mm LPS (57-N-323s) — velocity 850 ± 15 m/s

Maximum Back Face Deformation (BFD):

• 0 mm — for 5.45×39 mm PP

• up to 24 mm — for 7.62×54 mm LPS

Multi-Layer Construction

• Outer layer — Oxford fabric
  Water-repellent surface protecting against moisture, dust, and mechanical damage.

• Shock-absorbing layer — foamed polyethylene
  Partially dissipates kinetic energy and reinforces structural rigidity.

• Strike face — SiC ceramic (Silicon Carbide)
  A hot-pressed high-hardness material that shatters the projectile upon impact and withstands elevated temperatures.

• Energy-dispersing layer — UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene)
  Lightweight and durable polymer that distributes impact force while reducing overall weight.

• Inner cushioning layer — foamed polyethylene
  Minimizes back face deformation and enhances wearing comfort.

Important

If the plate carrier does not include a built-in trauma pad between the plate and the body, the use of an additional cushioning insert is recommended. This helps reduce back face deformation caused by high kinetic energy impacts.
