Magpul ESK Ambidextrous Safety Selector for AR-15 (Interchangeable Levers)

The Magpul ESK is a modern modular safety selector designed for AR platforms, focused on ergonomics, versatility, and user customization. The kit allows flexible weapon control configuration, providing comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed shooters.

Maximum User Adaptability

The key advantage of the ESK is its fully ambidextrous design and interchangeable levers. The kit includes three lever options:

• Full-Length — full-size lever for maximum control
• Short — compact version designed to minimize snagging
• Hybrid — balanced solution between compactness and comfort

The levers can be installed on either side of the selector shaft without wobble, allowing users to create their preferred configuration.

Two Selector Throw Options

The selector shaft features a reversible design, allowing the user to choose between two throw angles:

• 60° — faster engagement
• 90° — traditional selector movement

This allows the control layout to be tailored to the shooter’s preferences and mission requirements.

Durability and Reliability

At the core of the system is a heat-treated chromoly steel shaft with a durable QPQ protective finish. This combination provides excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and heavy-duty use.

The kit also includes a corrosion-resistant spring and a low-friction detent, ensuring smooth and positive selector operation.

Well-Engineered Design

The retaining pins are available in two colors (black and red) and serve dual purposes: securely locking the levers to the shaft while also acting as visual indicators of selector position. Installation is simple and only requires removal of the pistol grip. Future lever reconfiguration can be performed using basic tools such as a punch or hex key.

Advantages:

• fully ambidextrous design for right- and left-handed shooters
• three lever styles included
• selectable throw angle (60° / 90°)
• durable steel shaft with QPQ finish
• wobble-free installation
• quick configuration and easy component replacement
