The button is externally copied from the Silynx U94 Wireless PTT (Push-to-talk) button from Silynx, a company that develops communication systems for the US Army and law enforcement.
The PTT button is a permanent feature of almost all modern radios. It is used to realize a half-duplex standard of voice communication using a two-way radio interface and the ability to transmit a signal in only one direction at a time. To switch between transmit and receive modes, the user only needs to press/release the button.
Compatible with headsets that support the NATO (4-pin) connection standard, e.g. 3M Peltor, MSA Sordin, Earmor, and Z-Tactical.
Fits all radios that have a Kenwood connector such as Baofeng, Voyager, Kenwood, Wouxun, Quansheng, and others.
The sturdy steel clip allows you to attach the button to your vest, gear, or belt and holds it securely in place.
The case is made of lightweight (only 98 grams) and durable nylon plastic and is waterproof, which greatly extends trouble-free use and weather resistance.
