The main feature of the MEPRO MOR is its ability to operate in four modes:
Passive reflex sight (similar to the MEPRO M21), which requires no batteries and is always ready for use.
Active reflex sight with an especially bright reticle for unfavorable conditions.
Visible red laser designator for close-range engagements.
Invisible IR laser designator for covert use.
The “all-in-one sight” principle reduces the overall dimensions and weight of a weapon with tactical accessories, while simplifying sight management and maintenance.
The MEPRO MOR is equipped with a 30 mm lens, the same as most modern reflex sights, and 5 mm larger than the American MARS. This provides a wide field of view and makes rapid two-eyes-open aiming in close combat easier.
A distinctive feature of this sight is its triple power system: fiber-optic light source, tritium source, and two standard AA batteries. The sight remains operational even if both batteries are discharged, thanks to the tritium and fiber-optic sources.
The laser designator is activated via a remote switch mounted inside the trigger guard of M16, Tavor, and X95 rifles. Another advantage of the sight is the unified built-in adjustment mechanism for both the reflex sight and the laser, eliminating the need to zero each device separately.
The unit mounts on a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, which is the current standard, and comes with various adapters.
