HOLOSUN IRIS‑RD2 is a dual‑spectrum laser aiming module from the new IRIS series, featuring an invisible 850 nm infrared beam for use with night vision devices and a 635 nm red beam for visible aiming. The model represents a new design concept focused on reducing overall size and weight.

Compared to its predecessor, the unit is 45% lighter and features a 21% lower rail profile. Its streamlined “skeletonized” housing with lightweight mount occupies minimal rail space while ensuring seamless integration with the firearm. Rail attachment is secured via a classic crossbolt system.

The ultra‑compact IPX8‑rated housing is made from durable and lightweight 7075‑T6 aluminum, capable of withstanding impacts up to 1000G. Open windage and elevation adjustments allow precise zeroing with a 0.5 MOA click value and a total adjustment range of 50 MOA end‑to‑end.

A mode selector (VL / IRL) and power selector (Low / High) are conveniently positioned on the housing with intuitive operation. The centrally located “Fire” activation button ensures easy ambidextrous access. A remote pressure switch is included and can be mounted in a preferred position.

The device is powered by a CR123 battery with a runtime of up to 5000 hours (depending on selected mode).

The IRIS‑RD2 includes an integrated mount compatible with Picatinny (MIL‑STD‑1913) rails. The complete kit is supplied in a durable plastic carrying case.
