The Carinthia MIG 4.0 jacket was developed in cooperation with special operations units and features an optimized cut with reduced external seams, achieved through the use of advanced technical fabrics.
The jacket is insulated with G-Loft Si, a high-performance synthetic fill that mimics natural down while remaining moisture-resistant and highly compressible. Thanks to the ISO Mapping system, insulation density is strategically distributed: 125 g/m² in the torso area and 80 g/m² in the arms, providing reliable warmth with a comfort rating down to –15°C.
The outer shell is made of Gore Windstopper, offering excellent wind protection, durability, and water-repellent properties. A PTFE membrane enhances waterproofing, while the polyamide lining ensures robustness.
The integrated hood features a fleece lining and three adjustment points.
A special IR-reducing treatment minimizes infrared signature, making the wearer harder to detect with night-vision devices.
High-wear zones — shoulders, elbows, and cuffs — are reinforced with Cordura. Techno Stretch panels ensure unrestricted mobility.
The jacket includes seven functional pockets, underarm ventilation zippers, a high fleece-lined collar, adjustable cuffs, and a hem drawcord.
Velcro panels on the shoulders and back allow attachment of patches. A compression sack is included.
