The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp is a functional model with 10 operating modes designed for outdoor running training. The ability to generate three types of lighting also makes the device a useful addition to hiking equipment.

The flashlight is equipped with 4 LEDs:

Warm white Luminus SST20 CRI80 and cool white Luminus SST25 with a beam color temperature of 3000K and 6000K respectively;

Two red 2835 LEDs are designed for soft short-range illumination and for providing light signals in an emergency.

The working life of each diode is 50,000 hours, which is equivalent to 5.5 years of continuous operation.

The available modes are divided into 3 groups by lighting type for a quick one-handed setup:

Cool white light group

Turbo: 800 lm – 3790 cd – 3 h 20 min – 125 m;

High: 350 lm – 1570 cd – 6 h 30 min – 79 m;

Medium: 130 lm – 587 cd – 10 h – 49 m;

Low: 70 lm – 317 cd – 20 h 40 min – 36 m.

Group with warm white light

Group with a red beam

Please note! To calculate the duration of operation in Turbo mode, the time of operation of the flashlight in less bright modes is taken into account. The brightness decreases when the overheat protection is activated, which is activated when the internal electronics heat up.

The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 is controlled by several switches on the top of the design. This model also has a separate switch for instantly locking/unlocking the flashlight.

The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 comes with a rechargeable Li-pol battery and is charged via the USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the body and covered with a protective cap.

The battery capacity is 1900 mAh. Four colored indicators under the lenses help you monitor the battery level and warn you when the voltage drops, reminding you to recharge.

Three AAA batteries can be used instead of the built-in battery: alkaline or Ni-NH. However, please note that the charge indication does not work with alternative batteries.

The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 is IP66-rated and is suitable for use in harsh weather conditions, including snow and rain. The design is also impervious to mechanical damage, even in the event of a fall from a meter height.

Innovations also affected the included headband. In addition to reflective inserts, the design of the headband is complemented by the SPORT two-way adjustment system, which allows you to quickly adjust the length of the elastic band by simply turning the knob. An emergency whistle fixed to the elastic band adds to the functionality. It will be useful in an emergency to attract attention with sound signals.
