Carinthia Tropen Summer Sleeping Bag

Carinthia Tropen Medium Woodland – a lightweight mummy-shaped sleeping bag designed for use during the warm season. The model combines compactness, low weight, and an effective G-Loft insulation system, while the well-thought-out construction ensures comfortable body positioning during sleep.

The sleeping bag is made of durable 100% polyamide and equipped with G-Loft synthetic insulation. The Shelltrans outer material forms a protective barrier and helps reduce the impact of moisture on the inner layers.

Effective Thermal Insulation

The insulation is provided by G-Loft synthetic fiber, which maintains its thermal insulation properties even after getting wet and during regular use. Additionally, the internal Thermoflect system is designed to reflect part of the body's heat back inside the sleeping bag.

A trapezoidal construction is used in the foot area, creating more space for the feet while also helping retain heat in the lower part of the sleeping bag.

The temperature ratings of the model are determined according to EN 13537:

T-comfort: 9.4 °C – the temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night;
T-limit: 5.1 °C – the temperature at which a man can sleep without feeling discomfort;
T-extreme: -7.9 °C – the extreme survival rating, which should not be used as a guideline for comfortable sleeping.

Moisture Protection and Durable Materials

The outer shell is made of Shelltrans – 100% polyamide. The lightweight material forms an additional insulating barrier and has water-resistant properties.

The inner part is also made of 100% polyamide. The material is characterized by low moisture absorption and resistance to mechanical wear.

The combination of the Shelltrans outer shell, polyamide inner material, and G-Loft insulation provides a balanced construction for outdoor, field, and active use.

Convenient Opening

The Carinthia Tropen is equipped with a two-way zipper located on the left side. It allows the sleeping bag to be fully opened and makes getting in and out easier.

The Anti Snag system helps prevent the fabric from getting caught in the zipper slider during fastening. The upper flap with a Velcro closure additionally prevents accidental opening of the zipper.

Hood and Integrated Mosquito Net

The upper part of the sleeping bag is equipped with an integrated hood that helps retain heat around the head and provides protection from the wind.

Another advantage of the Tropen is the integrated mosquito net. It is located in the front section and can cover the face area, protecting the user from insects during sleep. The net is secured with a zipper around the hood.

Sleeping Bag System

The Carinthia Tropen can be used not only on its own, but also as an inner layer in the Sleeping Bag System together with the Defence 4 model.

This combination allows the temperature range of the sleeping system to be extended. In this configuration, the Tropen serves as an additional insulating layer and helps remove excess moisture.

Compact Transportation

For carrying and storage, the sleeping bag comes with a compression bag. When packed, its size is approximately 19 × 24 cm, so it takes up minimal space among other outdoor or field equipment.

With a weight of only 1100 g, the model remains convenient to transport during hikes, trips, camping, and field excursions.

📦 Inspection Policy:

The purchased goods must be inspected at the post office in the presence of an employee. In case of damage / defect or shortage of goods, contact the Manager. If contact is not possible, then capture the photo. Otherwise, claims for damage/defects or shortages will not be accepted in favor of the Client.

Payment of Goods

You can make a payment at any bank that accepts payments from individuals.
You can pay for your order with a payment (plastic) card, as well as via Privat24.
You can arrange cash on delivery by selecting a payment on delivery. In this case, you pay an additional commission 2% for cash on delivery.

International Delivery

Delivery is carried out through the UkrPochta & Nova Post company. Payment is made using the WayForPay payment system, including full delivery cost.

For the orders whose weight is less than 2 kg, the delivery cost will be 15 $ and added automatically.
For the orders whose weight is more than 2 kg, the delivery cost will be recalculated and sent to the email.

We do not send items that are part of weapons, their components, or visually similar to weapons abroad.
