HTA Carbon Remover – a specialized aerosol product for cleaning rifled and smoothbore firearms of various types and calibers. The formula is designed to remove carbon fouling, carbon particles, and persistent lubricant residues that accumulate on metal surfaces during firearm use. The product is suitable for combat, hunting, sporting, signaling, and antique firearms.

Effective Carbon Fouling Removal

The cleaner helps deal with contaminants that are difficult to remove by ordinary wiping. It dissolves carbon fouling and helps remove oil and carbon particles remaining on metal components. Thanks to its ability to penetrate hard-to-reach areas, the product can be used to clean various firearm mechanisms and assemblies.

HTA Carbon Remover is also recommended for cleaning the cartridge ejection system in revolvers and cartridge feeding mechanisms in pistols, where powder residues may accumulate during regular use.

How to Use HTA Carbon Remover

1. Make sure the firearm is completely unloaded and the magazine is removed.
2. Wait until the firearm has completely cooled down.
3. Remove large particles of contamination, dust, and mechanical impurities.
4. Shake the can for 3–5 seconds.
5. Apply the cleaner evenly to the contaminated surfaces.
6. Leave the product to work for approximately 15–25 minutes.
7. Remove the remaining cleaner. In case of significant contamination, use a brush or bore brush.
8. After cleaning, it is recommended to neutralize the remaining product with HTA DEGREASER & CLEANER.
9. Complete the maintenance by applying HTA NEUTRAL SYNTHETIC OIL firearm oil or HTA RUST PREVENT preservation product.
