Compression Stuff Sack is designed to reduce and compress the MSS system. The Modular Sleep System (MSS) is a modular sleeping system developed for the U.S. Army. The compression sack is perfect for storing and carrying either individual components or the entire MSS, which includes a summer sleeping bag, an insulated sleeping bag (for cold weather), and a waterproof bivy cover. With the Stuff Sack, you can significantly reduce the volume of your sleep system and conveniently carry it inside a backpack, attach it externally, or simply carry it on your shoulders.
Made of durable water-resistant nylon, it provides reliable protection against moisture, dirt, and dust. Its construction is designed for rugged use, ensuring long-lasting performance. At the top, the sack features a drawstring closure with a flap, which prevents water from entering.
The main advantage of this sack is its efficient compression system. It consists of multiple tightening straps (vertical and horizontal) with durable strong buckles and other high-quality hardware. In total, it has 9 compression straps: 6 along the length and 3 around the circumference. However, in this model, horizontal straps may be absent. Their absence does not affect compression quality, since the primary compression comes from the vertical straps. Thanks to this system, you can maximize compression and save space.
