Magpul UBR GEN2 Collapsible Stock for AR15/M4
The Magpul UBR GEN2 (Utility/Battle Rifle) is a premium-grade adjustable stock engineered for AR15/M4 and AR10/SR25 platforms. This model combines the solid feel and stability of a fixed stock with the versatility of an adjustable system and the practicality of an integrated storage compartment. Thanks to its reinforced construction, the UBR GEN2 is ideal for tactical applications, designated marksman rifles (DMR), and rifles chambered in powerful big-bore calibers.
Design and Features
One of the key features of the UBR GEN2 is its proprietary A5/SR25 receiver extension tube, which is included in the package. This integrated system provides an exceptionally rigid lock-up with virtually no wobble, similar to traditional fixed stocks. The design is specifically engineered to withstand heavy recoil, demanding operating conditions, and intensive use.
The stock supports standard carbine buffers and springs and is also compatible with A5-type systems.
Stable Cheek Weld and Adjustment
The UBR GEN2 features an adjustable length-of-pull system with eight positions: seven operational positions plus a fully collapsed setting. Regardless of the selected position, the shooter maintains a consistent cheek weld, which is especially important when using optics.
The angled cheek piece combines comfort with a compact profile, while the dual-locking adjustment mechanism provides excellent resistance to impacts and heavy use.
Ergonomics and Comfort
The stock is equipped with a MOE SL® rubber butt pad featuring a non-slip surface, improving weapon control and reducing felt recoil. The sloped lower profile allows for faster shoulder transitions and better compatibility with body armor and tactical gear.
Its ergonomic design ensures comfort even during extended periods of use.
Integrated Storage and Sling Mounting
Storage Compartment:
A removable rear storage compartment is included for batteries or small accessories. The compartment door can be installed on either side.
