The Virtus 90L GU Bergen Backpack is the latest generation contract backpack from the British Army. Designed to carry gear for days. It is compatible with the DWD Dynamic Weight Distribution system, which distributes weight between the shoulders and hips, improving operator comfort and agility.
The backpack has two compartments. The main compartment holds 70 liters and is also accessed from below. At the top is a 6-litre valve with a pocket and an internal zip compartment. Additional compartment with a volume of 2 liters with a carabiner inside for fixing things you put in.
Two side pockets of 5 liters are attached to the sides with the help of zippers. The pockets close with zippers and are provided with top handles for carrying the backpack for short distances.
An external flap can be attached to the bottom of the backpack for easy transportation of the mat.
The adjustable sternum strap helps to reduce the load on the shoulders, preventing the straps of the backpack from moving apart and chafing the underarm area.
Orthopedic shoulder straps with Molle interface and hydration tube retainer have a padded back for added comfort.
On the sides of the backpack are transport handles for carrying in the form of a bag.
YKK zippers with pullers are made for ease of use in the dark or with gloves.
The MOLLE system on the front, back and on the shoulder straps allows you to attach pouches and other gear.
