QUESCAN UBX-M10 is a compact multi-constellation GNSS receiver with USB connectivity, built on the latest u-blox M10 series chipset. The device provides high real-time positioning accuracy and is an ideal solution for navigation tasks, field measurements, embedded systems development, and use with PCs or laptops.
By supporting four major satellite constellations simultaneously, the receiver guarantees a stable signal and fast data updates even in challenging environments, such as dense urban canyons or under heavy tree canopy.
Key Advantages and Technologies
-
Multi-Constellation Accuracy: The u-blox M10 platform enables simultaneous operation with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou systems. This minimizes errors and significantly accelerates the Time To First Fix (TTFF). Typical accuracy is up to 1.5 m CEP.
-
High Sensitivity: With a sensitivity rating of –167 dBm, the module maintains satellite tracking in weak signal conditions where conventional GPS antennas lose connection.
-
Rapid Acquisition: Advanced signal capture technology ensures a "hot start" in just 1 second.
-
Energy Efficiency: The M10 chipset consumes only 25-30 mW, making it one of the most efficient in its class. This is critical when connected to battery-powered tablets or laptops.
Seamless Connection and Compatibility
The receiver features a built-in USB interface for "Plug & Play" operation:
-
Automatically detected as a virtual COM port (UART over USB).
-
Fully compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android OS.
-
Supports standard NMEA 0183 and binary UBX protocols, ensuring compatibility with any navigation and mapping software (SAS.Planet, Google Earth, QGIS, etc.).
Areas of Application
-
Professional GPS tracking and mapping.
-
Navigation for marine and land transport.
-
Field measurements and GIS data collection.
-
Development of IoT solutions and engineering projects.
-
Precise time synchronization for server systems.
