Gore-Tex Bivy Cover is an original protective sleeping bag cover from the U.S. Army Modular Sleep System (MSS). Designed for demanding field conditions, it provides reliable protection against rain, snow, wind, dirt, and ground moisture while maintaining a comfortable sleeping environment.

It is an excellent choice for military personnel, hikers, hunters, campers, mountaineers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need dependable all-weather protection.

Key Features

Original Gore-Tex Membrane

Constructed from durable Oxford nylon with a genuine three-layer Gore-Tex membrane, the cover combines waterproof performance with excellent breathability.

Completely waterproof against rain, wet snow, and damp ground.
Allows moisture vapor to escape, reducing internal condensation.
Helps keep the sleeping bag dry and maintains thermal efficiency.

All-Season Use

The Bivy Cover adds an extra protective layer to your sleep system and can also be used as a lightweight bivy shelter without a tent.

Recommended configurations:

Summer: used alone or with a lightweight sleeping bag.
Spring & Autumn: paired with a three-season sleeping bag.
Winter: used as the outer layer of the MSS with both sleeping bags for maximum cold-weather protection.

Practical Design

Full-length side zipper allows easy entry and exit.
Storm flap with snap fasteners protects the zipper from water and wind.
Adjustable hood with drawcord and cord lock provides a secure fit.
Additional Velcro closure helps retain warmth and blocks drafts.
