Wiley X

Wiley X is a manufacturer of multifunctional safety glasses and gloves, the characteristics of which meet the highest category American standards (ANSI and ASTM, respectively).
The history of this American brand began in 1986 with the release of ballistic glasses intended for members of the US Armed Forces and law enforcement officers. A narrow circle of consumers and a specific field of use have left a significant imprint on the design and strength characteristics of glasses from Wiley X. Some models of this American brand are able to withstand a targeted shot fired from a 12-gauge shotgun from a distance of 9 m.
In 1990, the company decided that "impact-resistant" lenses could serve well beyond the military. So Wiley-X became a manufacturer of glasses for bikers, athletes and fishermen.
The company is an active sponsor of the national American racing competitions NASCAR, ARCA Racing Series, DAYTONA 500 CHAMPION, even sponsoring its own Wiley X Driver team.
