Built on the same platform as the Belleville C775 insulated boots, the Belleville C755 Extreme Cold Weather model contains 400g of Thinsulate™ composite insulation with an additional 800g of insulation strategically placed around the toes for added protection. These boots also have increased foam insulation underfoot, offering protection from extreme cold and the vagaries of weather without the extra weight.
The GORE-TEX waterproof membrane provides optimal protection against moisture.
GORE-TEX THERMIUM® technology is designed to provide thermal comfort over an extended range of temperatures and environmental conditions. Adding warmth to a shoe typically adds bulk, reducing dexterity, flexibility, and compactness. This technology provides more warmth without sacrificing the vital abilities professionals need to perform tasks well.
The boot's upper comprises 100% cattle leather and heavy-duty nylon fabric.
The tongue is sewn to the base of the boot to prevent water and small debris from getting inside. However, this does not prevent quick and comfortable shoeing and unlacing.
The quick lacing system consists of laces, metal eyelets, and closed loops.
There are special loops near the cuff for easy carrying or hanging.
Inside, there is a soft lining and a removable polyurethane foam insole.
The Vibram® 360° FIRE & ICE™ outsole consists of a special rubber compound that does not harden at low temperatures, providing a better grip on ice and other slippery surfaces. The VANGUARD® outsole design is very comfortable and provides high cushioning properties as it is borrowed from running shoes.
Berry Compatibility. Meets AFI 36-2903 and AR 670-1 standards. Authorized for use by U.S. Army airplane and helicopter pilots.
