The Earmor M32X Mark 3 DualCom active headset is a tactical hearing protection and communication solution designed for simultaneous use with two radios. It features a detachable boom microphone and two TP-120/U-174 (NATO STD) plugs, enabling connection to two separate PTT units in demanding field, duty, or training environments where communication, hearing protection, and situational awareness are essential.
The headset supports two wearing configurations:
-
a traditional rigid headband;
-
helmet mounting via Earmor M16 / RAC adapters.
Important: Earmor M16 adapters are compatible only with Mark 3 series models. When installing them, note that the adapters are side-specific and marked L and R.
The M32X Mark 3 DualCom is designed to protect hearing in environments with high-intensity impulse noise, such as live-fire shooting areas. Built-in microphones amplify low-level ambient sounds to improve environmental awareness, while harmful noise is automatically limited to a safe 82 dB level. The system reacts to loud impulse sounds in just 1 ms, helping protect the user without significantly reducing awareness.
The detachable microphone can be mounted on either the left or right side, giving the user more flexibility depending on personal preference or gear setup. The headset also includes EMI/RFI shielding, engineered and tested in accordance with MIL-STD-416, helping reduce interference from surrounding electronic devices.
Ergonomic ear cups with soft ear cushions provide a comfortable and secure seal. The battery compartments are rated IP67 for water resistance, and the covers include retention loops to reduce the chance of loss. To extend battery life, the headset features automatic shutoff after 4 hours.
The unit comes with two integrated TP-120/U-174 connectors, allowing simultaneous operation with two radios via compatible PTT buttons. The military-style connector follows the NATO 7.0 standard and is compatible with Earmor PTT and TCI/Nexus PTT units.
It is not compatible with Element or Z-Tactical PTTs.
