CIRAS (Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System) is a modular body armor designed for the US Special Forces.
The vest has PALS webbing, which makes it MOLLE compatible and allows you to fasten various equipment and accessories.
There are two variants of the vest, known as "LAND" (land) and "MARITIME" (sea) version,
the difference between them is in the fastening of the outer belt and the location of the quick release handle.
In view of the greater mobility, Ciras Maritime was adopted as standard for the US Special Forces.
The vest consists of front and rear panels with pockets SAPI plates and Kevlar bags.
It provides the wearer up to NIJ level IV protection on the front and rear, and level IIIA protection on the sides.
At the bottom back of the front of the vest there are two buckles for fastening groin protection.
On the sides there is an outer belt, which is also covered with PALS straps.
The vest is made of Cordura 1000D and has a mesh on the inside for cooling the operator.
