Case Sony HDR-AS300 is made of durable white polycarbonate.
The front of the camera on which the lens is located is slightly extended.
Under the lens there are holes in the microphone system.
On the right panel under the lid it has open access to the battery.
On the other hand there are monochrome display and control keys.
The upper part is equipped with keys on and record, as well as an indicator of work.
On the back side under the cap there are hidden connectors micro HDMI,
micro USB and 3.5-mm audio jack for connecting an external microphone.
On the bottom, under the cover, there is a hidden memory card slot and a hole for mounting the mounting system.
One of the main advantages of the camera there is optical stabilization.
It will allow you not to worry about image quality even when shooting in difficult conditions.
Sony HDR-AS300 received a 1/2.5-inch Exmor R CMOS-matrix with a
resolution of 8.2 MP and ZEISS Tessar optics with a F2.8 aperture.
The minimum focusing distance is 50 cm.
The camera uses a BIONZ X image processor.
The maximum video resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels with a frequency of 60 frames.
Separate attention deserves shooting photos in 4K format, to create interval video.
Control of the camera is simple, changing the mode takes a few seconds.
A built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1240 mAh provides a little more than 2 hours of video recording in Full HD format
with a frequency of 30 frames. Sony HDR-AS300 is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC.
All this is useful for remote control and quick synchronization with your smartphone and other devices.
Also here there is GPS support, which will allow you to see where the filming took place.
The waterproof box, which allows the camera to be used at a depth of 60 meters,
is made almost entirely of transparent plastic,
although black polycarbonate dominates in part of the design.
On the case, all the necessary functional elements are duplicated.
Among them, it is worth noting the possibility of blocking the off key from being accidentally pressed and a flat filter to protect the lens.
