CYMA CM.048 Gen 2 is an electric AK-74 platform airsoft rifle designed for use in forest, field, and mixed airsoft games. The model combines a metal construction with wooden elements, giving it a classic appearance and the feel of a substantial weapon in the hands.
The main difference of the Gen 2 version is the updated electronic system with CYMA V3 MOSFET. Updated Gen 2 Electronics
The installed CYMA V3 MOSFET controls the replica's electrical system and improves the system's response to trigger pulls. As a result, the delay between pulling the trigger and firing is reduced, which is especially noticeable during dynamic gameplay.
The rifle has semi-automatic and automatic firing modes. The gearbox is made in the V3 format characteristic of the AK platform. 8 mm steel ball bearings are installed.
Barrel and hop-up
The CYMA CM.048 Gen 2 is equipped with a 500 mm long brass inner barrel with an inner diameter of 6.04 mm. This configuration is designed to provide a stable airsoft BB trajectory.
A metal AK-standard hop-up chamber is used to adjust the BB spin. It allows the system to be adjusted according to the weight of the BBs being used. The manufacturer of the magazine recommends BBs weighing 0.23–0.25 g.
Power and Battery
The model uses a T-connector and is compatible with 7.4 V and 11.1 V LiPo batteries. The battery is housed inside the stock, but the battery and charger are not included.
