Desert Night Camouflage Parka – authenticity, functionality, proven materials
The parka is based on the US Army's night camouflage system, with an original grid-overprint pattern – dark green lines on a light olive background. Designed to be worn over other clothing to reduce visibility in early generations of night vision devices.

Historical reference:
Desert Night Camo (DNC) was developed in the 1980s for the US Army as a night cover over the standard desert uniform. It was used during Operation Desert Storm (1991). Its purpose was to make it difficult to recognize soldiers with early night vision goggles, but it later proved to be only partially effective.
