DA 520T soft ballistic protection from the Greek company Double Action Defense (DAD), is designed to provide additional protection to the lower back area against ballistic threats. This is needed to increase the level of protection in areas that are not normally covered by body armor or plate armor. Designed to improve the protective functions of the tactical belt that is used to supplement body armor.

The ballistic insert is made of pure, lightweight, and very flexible ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers UHMWPE with high V50 and Vstop, which guarantees excellent ballistic performance combined with good flexibility (easy to fit any figure) and comfortable weight (only 501 grams).

This model of ballistic protection has been tested with HDS and was found to meet the Type III A specifications according to NIJ 0101.04 standard (withstands a 7.62 x 25 mm FMJ TOKAREV caliber hit with a velocity of 520+/-10 m/s).

Placing the ballistic package in heavy-duty CORDURA 500D PU IRR nylon fabric hardens resistance to abrasion, tears, puncture, burnout, thermal imaging detection (supports infrared (IR) masking), dirt, moisture, and mold, which is the key to reliability throughout the life of use.

Thanks to the use of modern materials, the ballistic belt does not absorb moisture and retains its properties in all weather conditions.

Proper and timely care is the key to a long and trouble-free service life:

1. To get rid of dirt, wipe with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent;

2. Do not wash in the washing machine or use dry cleaning services;

3. Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, solvents, or chemicals;

4. The insert must be completely dry before placing in the outer shell.
