MOHOC 2 SDI Tactical Helmet Camera
The MOHOC 2 SDI is a next-generation tactical sensor designed for integration into modern C6ISR command and reconnaissance systems. Unlike consumer action cameras, it is purpose-built for real-time video transmission over military MANET radio networks, providing enhanced situational awareness on the tactical edge.
The camera is optimized for operation in harsh environments and ensures reliable data transmission directly to operators and command centers.
Key features:
- Enhanced low-light performance: the sensor is approximately 20 times more sensitive than previous models, delivering clear and detailed images in low-light and dusk conditions.
- Plug-and-Play integration: designed for direct connection to Persistent Systems MPU5 and DTC SOL8DSR-H2 tactical radios via HD-BNC input.
- Military-grade durability: MIL-Spec cables and connectors (Din1.0/2.3 and Push-Pull USB) ensure sealing and resistance to mechanical stress.
- Ergonomic design: low-profile housing follows the contour of a helmet, reducing the risk of snagging on gear or obstacles.
Technical specifications:
- SDI video output: 1080p (25/30/50/60), 1080i (50/60), 720p (25/30/50/60)
- Analog output: CVBS-D1
- Control: OSD menu via physical switch or serial port
- Communication: RS-485 support (receive only — RX)
- Power supply: DC 5–18V; approx. 140 mA at 12V. Powered via radio or external USB source
