The blade is made of D2 steel. Tool steel is widely used in the knife industry because it strikes a balance between flexibility and strength. The metal is hardened to 60 HRC and maintains its sharpness for a long time, eliminating the need for frequent sharpening. The matte finish hides scratches and fingerprints.
The handle has G10 scales. A rough composite is bonded to both sides of the handle for a secure grip. The ergonomic shape of the scales, with smooth curves and rounded edges, prevents digging into the palm and evenly distributes the load on the wrist during cutting.
The knife opens with a reversible pin, making it equally comfortable for both right- and left-handed users. The mechanism operates smoothly, with the blade securely locked in place by the Axis Lock pin.
