The FORT telescopic buttstock is designed to replace the standard (wooden or plastic) buttstock on AK-47, AK-74, AKM, Saiga, MKM-072 rifles, and so on.

The product is characterized by a very durable, reliable, and convenient design. The buttstock body is made of impact-resistant gun plastic. The stock tube, mount, and locking button pin are made of gun steel. The buttstock is also fitted with a rubber buttstock to improve tactility, reduce recoil, and prevent sliding on clothing.

It can be mounted in a standard buttstock mounting location and does not require any additional modifications.

Before installing the stock, it is necessary to disconnect the stock by removing its screws. Then, install the new buttstock into the receiver and the cover plate into the rear part of the receiver and tighten the mounting screws.

To stop the recoil damper (spring) from working, an insert is installed in the buttstock. To do this, remove the metal spring housing together with the recoil spring, put the insert on the recoil spring, and install it together with the housing in the buttstock.

The length of the stock is adjustable in four positions. This allows the length of the stock to be adjusted to the individual characteristics of the shooter. The adjustment range is from 210 to 295 mm (the stock length is 240 mm).
