Uniden Bearcat BC125AT is a portable scanning receiver designed for beginner radio monitoring enthusiasts, featuring a full keypad for easy operation. The BC125AT is intended for receiving analog conventional channels and represents an upgraded version of its predecessor, the BC95XLT.
Key improvements include an extended frequency range of 225–380 MHz and selectable modulation modes (AM, FM, NFM) for each channel. This enables FM reception of the CB band (26–28 MHz) as well as river communication and other radio systems operating in the 225–380 MHz range. The receiver supports alphanumeric channel tags, up to 500 memory channels organized into 10 banks of 50, tone/code squelch (CTCSS/DCS), and a Temporary Lockout feature for blocked channels.
The built-in S-meter visually indicates signal strength, and PC programming adds further flexibility. Popular Uniden features remain, including Custom Search, Service Search, and Close Call for instant frequency capture.
