The FRACU (Flame-Resistant Army Combat Uniform) combat trousers are an official part of the U.S. Army uniform system, designed to provide soldiers with enhanced protection and comfort in demanding field or combat conditions. Produced by certified U.S. defense contractors, these trousers meet strict military quality and safety standards.
The pants feature an ergonomic cut that ensures mobility and comfort during long missions. There are seven functional pockets, including:
-
two deep front slash pockets,
-
two large thigh cargo pockets with Velcro flaps and drainage holes,
-
two lower leg pockets,
-
and two rear pockets with button flaps.
The knee sections include compartments for removable pads (sold separately). Both the waist and cuffs can be adjusted with drawcords for a secure fit — ideal for wear with boots or tactical footwear.
Made from flame-resistant ripstop fabric, reinforced with high-strength fibers, the material is self-extinguishing, non-melting, and prevents tear propagation. The fabric composition includes Nomex (meta-aramid) for fire resistance, Kevlar for strength, and P-140 for antistatic protection.
The MultiCam camouflage pattern, developed by Crye Precision in collaboration with the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center, provides effective concealment across diverse environments — from arid deserts to dense forests.
Features: FRACU (flame-resistant ACU version), ergonomic design, 7 utility pockets, knee pad compartments, adjustable waist and cuffs, MultiCam camouflage.
