The Specna Arms SA-B02 airsoft drive is made predominantly of a zinc-aluminum alloy reinforced with steel in the most stressed and critical places - in particular, all bolts, pins and swivel mounts for swivels are made of steel. For the telescopic example (in the buffer tube of which there is a battery), as well as the pistol grip, a polymer was used. Receiver and forend with RIS system have a protective anodized coating, which significantly increases corrosion resistance. The paint is also characterized by increased resistance and durability: it is applied by powder method, and the corresponding surfaces have been previously sandblasted. The receiver bears the emblem of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
According to the manufacturer, all parts of the product are very precisely fitted to each other (at the level of analogs from top brands), and the weight balance is optimized as much as possible, making the drive very maneuverable, and its weight "is almost invisible when held in the firing position."
One of the highlights of this model is the SAEC ™ quick spring change system. This system allows you to adjust the drive to the characteristics of a particular landfill, and you don't even need to take out the hump box. It is enough to remove the stock buffer tube, disconnect the rod from the spring guide, replace the spring itself and assemble the actuator back - put the stock in place first, and then the buffer tube. Separately, it should be noted that the procedure for replacing the spring does not require any tools - for example, the buffer tube is secured with a threaded ring and a latch.
The benefits of this design cannot be overstated given that different teams and organizations may have different drive power requirements. SAEC allows you to install a replaceable spring with minimal effort and time, thus choosing the best initial ball velocity and providing an optimal balance between efficiency on the one hand and safety for the players on the other. It should be noted that the drive package includes a replaceable M90 spring, ideal for close range combat, including in buildings. It reduces the initial velocity of the ball to 99 m / s, while the standard mainspring gives about 130 m / s and is designed for medium-range combat.
The drive is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries; however, the battery and charger are not included in the scope of delivery.
One of the elements of the SAEC system is a steel spring guide installed in a hump box. The gearbox itself has a reinforced design, uses 8mm ball bearings and steel gears, with four anti-reverse hooks on the motor gear. The lightweight piston is made of polycarbonate and is equipped with a steel toothed rack for increased reliability. In addition, a Type 2 cylinder, a steel fire razor and a metal hop-up chamber should be mentioned.
This drive is positioned as a modified model, in which, in particular, the following improvements are applied:
- durable steel gears;
- steel spring guide;
- lightweight polymer piston;
- sealed aluminum alloy piston head;
- metal cylinder head;
- sealed metal nozzle.
The actuator is equipped with a 22 mm RIS top rail, as well as a trickle with RIS Free Float bars. A removable rear sight is attached to the upper bar, the front sight is mounted on the outer barrel. The telescopic example can be locked in any intermediate position thanks to the anti-slip latch, which allows the length of the example to be adjusted very precisely to the needs of the player. The flame arrester is installed on a standard left-hand thread of 14 mm, which allows you to optionally replace it with a dummy silencer. Other interesting features include a fully functional shutter delay mechanism.
The scope of delivery includes a steel hopper magazine for 300 balls. The drive is also compatible with many third-party shops on the market, in particular with products from manufacturers: BOYI, Airsoft Systems, SRC, King Arms, MAG, STAR, ACM.
The SAEC ™ system is protected by European Patent No. 002639500.
