The CAL (Cant And Loc) class bipod was designed for shooters who do not need a frontal tilt function (there is only horizontal tilt, obstruction).
The BT65 bipod is constructed from 6061-T6 Mil-Spec Type III hard-anodized aluminum with some heat treated stainless steel parts.
The sturdy legs are designed so that the outer leg does not rotate around the inner leg. It has five installation positions: 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180°.
The bipod mounts directly to the Picatinny rail using a low-profile, two-screw clip. The mount is equipped with a Pod-Loc lever. The position of the Pod-Loc lever can be adjusted for positioning, pulling the lever straight away from the CAL body, returning it to the desired position. This positioning can be repeated until the optimum position is reached.
