Tactical Belt Balak Wear Chimera Gen2 is a modern load-bearing belt system, designed for professionals who demand maximum reliability and comfort when carrying gear. This is not an ordinary belt, but a two-piece military system consisting of an inner and outer belt. The inner belt is worn through pant loops like a regular belt, while the outer belt is a rigid MOLLE platform for attaching pouches, holsters, medical kits, and other essential gear. These two parts of the belt are secured together with durable hook-and-loop Velcro. This design allows for quick donning and doffing of equipment, which is especially important in dynamic combat or training environments.
First, the inner belt is worn through the pants loops like a regular belt. Then, necessary gear is attached to the outer belt via the MOLLE system — pouches, medical kits, etc. After that, you wrap the outer belt around your waist over the inner belt. The strong hook-and-loop Velcro on both belts locks them together, creating a stable, unified construction. Finally, you fasten the outer belt with the metal buckle. Thanks to this, the outer belt does not slip, sag, or twist, while all gear remains securely fixed to the belt.
The upgraded Balak Wear Tactical Belt Gen2 differs from the previous version with improved ergonomics, load resistance, and enhanced comfort during long wear. Thanks to the Tegris frame insert, the belt maintains rigidity and does not deform even under full load, while the durable AustriAlpin D-ring Cobra buckle ensures reliability. This metal buckle can withstand enormous loads (up to 4000 lbs [1800 kg] and more). Due to its mechanism, the “Cobra” is one of the safest and strongest buckles in the world. The integrated D-ring allows the belt to be used as an attachment point for safety lanyards or additional gear. The belt is made from laminated Cordura, a high-tech material that is lightweight yet extremely resistant to wear, cuts, and tears. The laminated finish makes it resistant to moisture and dirt, ensuring durability even in extreme conditions.
The belt’s width and rigid construction distribute weight evenly, reducing shoulder strain and relieving the back.
