The Army Aircrew Combat Uniform (A2CU) pants in Scorpion W2 OCP camouflage are purpose-built for military aviation crews. They provide superior comfort, mobility, and flame resistance during flight operations, maintenance tasks, and tactical missions.
Designed with practicality in mind, the pants feature seven functional pockets — two thigh cargo pockets, two calf tool pockets, a knife pocket on the left thigh, and two hanging side pockets — offering convenient storage for mission essentials. The waist is adjustable with durable straps and belt loops.
Made from advanced Nomex® fabric (92% meta-aramid Nomex, 5% Kevlar, 3% conductive P-140 fiber), these pants offer excellent thermal protection. The material is self-extinguishing, does not melt or drip, and retains its flame-resistant properties even after repeated laundering.
Kevlar reinforcement enhances tear strength and adds extra fire protection. When exposed to heat, the fibers condense into a protective carbon layer that maintains thermal insulation even under extreme conditions.
Composition: 92% Meta-Aramid (Nomex), 5% Para-Aramid (Kevlar), 3% Conductive Fiber (P-140).
OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) — a military camouflage pattern originally codenamed Scorpion W2, adopted by the U.S. Army in 2015 as the standard for the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). In 2019, it officially replaced the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) and took the place of MultiCam used by U.S. troops deployed in Afghanistan.
