USMC Improved Bivy Cover All-Weather Outer Cover – Grade 1

USMC Improved Bivy Cover – Grade 1 – an all-weather outer cover for a sleeping bag used by the United States Marine Corps. Its main purpose is to protect the sleeping bag from moisture and precipitation without the need to add a heavy tent or other bulky shelter to the equipment.

Moisture Protection

The outer part of the cover is made of 100% nylon, while the inner lining is made of Gore-Tex. This construction creates a protective barrier between the sleeping bag and the external environment, helping protect it from rain and moisture.

At the same time, the cover does not require complicated setup and takes up minimal space in the equipment. It can be used together with a standard sleeping bag, increasing its protection during overnight stays outdoors.

Insect Protection
