Argus PVS-31 Night Vision Binocular is a compact, lightweight dual-tube NVG designed for military and professional users who require minimal weight and maximum performance.
Among similar systems, the PVS-31 stands out as one of the smallest and lightest binocular night vision devices available.

Equipped with a Gen 3 image intensifier manufactured by L3Harris (USA), it offers an operational lifespan of 10,000–15,000 hours, which is 3–4 times longer than Gen 2 systems. Even under extremely low ambient light, it delivers excellent image clarity and stability.

The green phosphor provides a bright, high-contrast image ideal for tactical use in complete darkness, where silhouettes and outlines matter most.
The system was designed to reduce headborne weight, improve balance, and enhance the operator’s situational awareness. The 50° field of view ensures excellent visibility in field operations.

Each optical tube features automatic gain control and can be rotated independently, allowing both binocular and monocular configurations.
Using two tubes improves depth perception and spatial orientation, while monocular use allows faster adaptation when switching between night vision and daylight optics.

When folded, the device sits close to the front of the helmet, reducing the user’s profile, improving safety, and minimizing equipment damage risk.
