ProfArmor Neckchest is a neck-and-chest ballistic protection module designed to extend coverage to vulnerable areas that usually remain exposed even when wearing a plate carrier or body armor. It protects the upper chest and upper back, the neck-and-shoulder area, the clavicle zone, and the shoulder blade area, providing additional defense against fragments and handgun rounds without significantly restricting mobility. The module is worn under body armor and can be integrated with most modern modular carrier systems.

The construction is based on a soft multi-layer ballistic package, which means the module is ready for use immediately after purchase. It only needs to be attached to the main armor platform. Its ergonomic shape allows it to fit close to the body, avoiding unnecessary bulk and helping maintain freedom of movement in demanding field conditions.

The outer cover is made from high-quality Cordura® nylon manufactured in the USA, featuring a polyurethane coating and water-repellent treatment. Inside, the protective insert is made from UHMWPE Dyneema®, a lightweight multi-layer ballistic fiber produced in the USA. This combination of materials provides an effective balance of durability, low weight, flexibility, and protective performance.

The module covers the front and rear sections of the neck, the shoulders, the upper chest, the upper back, and the shoulder blade area. The neck protection section is adjustable, and отдельных parts can be separated when needed to improve ventilation. The design also includes dedicated attachment loops for optional arm protection modules, allowing the user to configure the setup for specific operational tasks. Fixation is achieved with hook-and-loop fasteners, loops, and MOLLE-compatible interfaces.

In terms of ballistic performance, ProfArmor Neckchest meets NIJ IIIA (NIJ 0101.06) protection standards. It is rated to stop .357 SIG FMJ FN rounds at 448 ± 9.1 m/s and .44 Magnum SJHP rounds at 436 ± 9.1 m/s. This means protection against a broad range of handgun threats, including high-energy rounds in this class. In addition, the module demonstrates strong fragmentation resistance in accordance with STANAG 2920, up to 655 m/s, making it a valuable solution for high-risk environments.
