The Army Combat Pant FR Scorpion W2 OCP 40/32/28 v2.0 is an updated flame-resistant combat pant issued to U.S. Army special operations units.
The trousers are made of Tencate Defender M with Lenzing FR, a flame-resistant fabric known for breathability, durability, and quick-drying performance.
The waistband features belt loops, while the front closure uses buttons instead of a zipper. Waist adjustment is done via side hook-and-loop tabs.
There are two standard hand pockets beneath the waistband.
Large cargo pockets on the thighs close with three buttons. To prevent accidental opening, each button is secured through a dedicated inner tab rather than the outer flap. Pocket volume is adjustable using internal shock cords.
Inside the cargo pockets are straps that allow height adjustment of knee pads.
The knee-pad openings have been redesigned so that inserted pads are now completely concealed. Each opening features dual hook-and-loop closures. Knee pads are not included.
Hook-and-loop adjusters behind the knees allow tapering of the leg.
A wide reinforced crotch gusset reduces pressure from intersecting seams and improves freedom of movement.
Two rear pockets with anti-opening protection are located at the back.
Additional pockets are placed on the lower back of each leg.
Each pant leg ends with tie-cord adjusters that can be knotted to control width.
