Bronyx Level 6 Armor Plate Set (DSTU 8782:2018)
Reliable top-level protection designed for combat and professional use. The set includes two armor plates manufactured in compliance with DSTU 8782:2018, Level 6 — the highest protection class under the current Ukrainian standard.
The plates are compatible with modern plate carriers and provide effective protection against armor-piercing rifle rounds, fragments, and secondary projectiles.
Ballistic Protection Level
The armor plates withstand:

up to three hits of 7.62×54 mm B-32 armor-piercing rounds

7B3-323 (7.62×54 BZ-2 armor-piercing incendiary) rounds

fragments, ricochets, and shrapnel
Tested projectile velocity: 860 ±15 m/s
Maximum backface deformation: up to 19 mm

Construction & Materials
The plate features a multi-layer composite structure:

Shock-absorbing layer — foamed polyethylene

Durable Oxford outer cover
The ceramic layer covers approximately 85% of the plate surface (with a 20–25 mm edge offset). Upon impact, the ceramic disrupts and fractures the projectile core, while the UHMWPE backing captures fragments and distributes impact energy.

All plates are manufactured in Ukraine at Bronyx’s own production facilities with strict quality control at every stage.
Usage Recommendation
If your plate carrier does not include an integrated trauma pad, it is recommended to use an additional padding layer between the body and the plate. This helps reduce backface deformation and improves wearing comfort.
