The Sunwayfoto TL-2840CC Hermes is a premium-class carbon fiber tripod that combines low weight, high structural rigidity, and impressive load capacity. The model is part of the Hermes series, specifically designed for intensive use in demanding outdoor environments. One of its key features is the Sealed Lock Weatherproofing System, which prevents water, dust, sand, and dirt from entering the leg sections. As a result, the tripod maintains smooth operation even after use in rain, desert conditions, or rough terrain. The quick-action Flip Lock leg locks allow the legs to be deployed instantly, while the clamping force can be easily adjusted to suit individual preferences.
The construction combines a T6061 high-strength aluminum alloy platform with premium carbon fiber legs. A reversible 1/4"-20 / 3/8"-16 mounting screw provides compatibility with most ball heads, video heads, and Arca-Swiss shooting adapters. The manufacturer recommends pairing the tripod with EB-44, XB-38, TH-40, or IB-30 heads, with the IB-30 being specifically designed for hunting and firearm applications thanks to its compatibility with both Arca-Swiss and Picatinny standards.
